Ocean week update

This week was filled with a bunch of games like hide and go seek, monster tag, crafts, puzzles, singing, reading, learning about the ocean, and wiping up runny noses :) haha

So what did the kids learn this week?

They learned the ocean is "blue" because it reflects from the "blue" sky. The ocean is important because it "cools" down the earth so it doesn't get to hot, and it makes rain so we can grow plants, therefore eat etc. They also learned about things that live in the ocean such as Whales, Fish, Jelly fish, octopus, (and that they have 8 legs) star fish, coral, star fish, sea weed etc. They really liked this theme especially Makayla.
